Barista/Server Needed at Sweet Revenge

NYC's only restaurant & wine bar with cupcake, beer & wine pairings is looking for a mature, experienced, cheerful & happy, self-motivated Barista/Server for 3 shifts per week. You MUST have open availability to work daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

We have a world-bistro ambiance, a Cheers-like neighborhood approach and are a family-owned small business. You hustle patrons in the door and are skilled at cross & upselling food & beverages. In our restaurant, every patron counts. You are savvy and confident to run a smooth front-of-house operation in our 7-table restaurant. This is a one-stop shop role for the person who enjoys managing a lot of details, multi-tasking and responsibility. This role handles the daily Open procedures, Dept of Health checklist, and the Operating checklist; greets patrons; takes orders; serves and busses tables; washes dishes (we have a dishwashing machine); makes espresso-based drinks; serves wine & beer; packages to-go items; runs the register; places wine/beer/coffee orders with vendors & receives them into inventory; and relays orders to our chefs.

The candidate is an excellent team player who also enjoys working independently in a small business environment. They enjoy having regulars and creating new ones.

REQUIREMENTS
NYC Food Handler's license and E-Tips liquor safety license. 
Cafe/restaurant serving experience. 
Available to work over ALL holidays (exceptions: we are closed on July 4th evening, Thanksgiving day & Christmas eve/day).
Able to work legally.
